![]() ![]() ![]() When it comes to video games, Media Create says that Everyone's Rhythm Heaven from Nintendo has managed to continue its rule over the number one position, with sales of 81,938 units for its second week on shelves. ![]() The 3DS stands on 16,415 units sold for one week, followed by the rest of the DS family of devices, the Xbox 360 on 1,616, the PlayStation 2 with 1,594 consoles sold and the PSP Go, which continues its march into oblivion with 7 units sold. Second spot in the hardware chart went to the PlayStation 3 home console, making it a Sony one-two, with sales of 20,704, a dip of about 3,000 units when compared to the previous seven day period.Įven the Nintendo Wii has sold better than the 3DS, managing to move 18,232 units, a slight increase week over week. The Sony made handheld has managed to sell 36,659 units, which is a pretty important increase over the 26,854 that it had managed during the previous week. ![]() With the announcement from Nintendo that it will be cutting the price of the 3DS handheld in Japan by about 40 percent in order to attract more buyers, the device has seen a sharp drop in sales on the Japanese market and relinquished the top position in the hardware chart created by Media Create to the PlayStation Portable.Īll the figures are for the week that ended on July 31. ![]()
